For 2012, Renault was chosen as the top French company for their investment and developed of innovative technologies used in their vehicles. Technology and telecom companies have featured in the top ten list of innovative companies every single year.
Apple has been occupying the top spot since 2005 while Google has been taking second place since 2006. Microsoft, Sony and IBM have been featured in the top ten every year since 2005. Factors like Renault’s investment in zero emission vehicles coupled with its partnership with Nissan to produce platforms for its vehicles as also its tie-up with Daimler have propelled this company to the top. Results are founded over a period of time taking into account increase in growth and investments as also impact of the brand in many regions.
