14 automotive companies listed in top 100 Best Global Brands For 2013 by Interbrand
Interbrand has listed 14 automakers in the top 100 world’s most valuable brands for 2013. Nissan ranked 65, up from 73 in 2012. Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW had the same listing for both years placed 10, 11, and 12, respectively. Honda came in at 20, a spot better than in 2012.
Kia improved 4 places at 83. John Deere’s 80th place finish reflects a 5 place improvement. Chevrolet finished in 89 this year, and Harley-Davidson maintained their 96th spot. A 98 place finish for Ferrari is n improvement on last year’s 99 place finish. In June, Nissan was named 1 of the world’s greenest brands for 2013 in Interbrand’s Best Global Green Brands report.
