1098 BharatBenz heavy-duty trucks sold in India in Q3FY13

Bharat Benz a newly launched brand of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd registered sales of 1098 vehicles since launch of 3 its heavy duty models. Range includes the 25 tonne Rigid, 25 tonne Construction and the 31 tonne Construction. Production of these trucks began prior to their launch in September 2012 and since then even though market conditions weren’t quite favorable the brand managed to achieve a sizeable sales output.

To help cater to needs of Bharat Benz customers, there are 30 outlets that have been opened in various locations with the number expected to rise to 79 by end of 2013. Innovative offers and fiancé solutions provided by Daimler Finance Services has allowed customers to buy these trucks that are constructed based on needs of customers and logistics to be provided.

Apart from Daimler Financial Services, the brand also has tie ups with finance institutions like ICICI, HDFC, Shriram Transport finance and Sundaram Finance among others. During 2013, Bharat Benz will look to expand its portfolio with inclusion of light and medium commercial vehicles for its customers.
