Lamborghini Racing Division creates one-off Aventador, more powerful than SVJ Coupe

Lamborghini has unveiled the SC18 Alston, a street legal sports car which receives a host of racing elements. The SC18 Alston is based on the Aventador SVJ and has been designed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse – the Italian automaker’s motorsports division along with a client and the Centro Stile Lamborghini design studio.

The first such one-off vehicle to be produced by Squadra Corse, the SC18 is seen with aerodynamic elements among which are air intakes on its front hood in a similar design as those seen on the Huracan GT3 EVO.

It also receives side and rear fenders, fins and air scoops as seen on the Huracan Supeer Trofeo EVO. it also gets carbon fiber rear wing, which is mechanically adjustable in three configurations. This allows to generate maximum downforce and maximum drag – mid range for a more balanced set up and lastly for minimum drag and higher top speed.

Lamborghini SC18 Alston also receives 12 air intakes on the rear hood so as to allow for optimum heat exchange and better cooling of the engine. The SC18 sits on 20” front and 21” rear single wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres. The entire cockpit sports carbon fiber. It also gets bucket seats done up in Nero Ade Alcantara microfiber with red cross stitching accents.

Engine specifications on the Lamborghini SC18 includes a 6,498 cm3 V12 engine offering 770 PS peak power at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm peak torque at 6,750 rpm mated to an Independent Shifting Rod and 7 speed automatic gearbox.

The Lamborghini SC18 Alstom has been specially custom built for a customer. It paves the way for further personalization projects for motorsports aficionados. It gets a custom exhaust which the company states produces a unique sound that is unlike anything heard on any supercar to date.
