Nissan Micra’s India launch is expected in first half of 2010 . Nissan will launch hatchback version initially and the sedan will follow soon after.  Micra’s production will start January 2010  at Nissan’s Chennai factory.

The car will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol engine variants will vary from 0.9ltr to 1.2ltr while the diesel engine could be a 1.5 ltr turbo-charged one. If the rumors are to be believed, this car will boast of the strongest engine in its category.
