The boy, who had been adopted two years ago, was reportedly heading to his home in Poland. The youngster is well versed with go kart racing and adept with driving a luxury vehicle. He took his father’s Mercedes Benz keys and set off on his road trip from Italy to Poland, with barely €200 (Rs 14,333) in his pocket.

Surprisingly, the troubled teenager managed to cross two international borders, top up his petrol tank en-route, without attracting any attention. It was only close to the Polish border than German police managed to nab him. The youngster apparently missed his biological sister and was heading home to meet her, following arguments with his adoptive parents, reports BBC.

According to reports, it was the vehicle that was tracked and not the fact that it was an under-aged boy at its wheels that resulted in his capture. The youngster was completely confident behind the wheels of this high powered Mercedes and managed to traverse a reasonable amount of distance before he was tracked and stopped near Moisburg in Northern Germany. The 13 year old has now realized his error, and apologized to his adopted parents. The Mercedes Benz too is back home safe in Italy.
