2012 Indian Grand Prix wil see Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha sing national anthem

After resounding success in 2011, the Indian Grand Prix is scheduled for its second edition from October 26th to 28th, 2012. Here, top Bollywood stars Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha have been invited to sing the national anthem at the opening just before the high powered vehicles roar onto the Buddh International Circuit on Sunday.

Venue hosts Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI) releasing the schedule of the 2012 Indian Grand Prix and motorsport fans will get to see the world’s top F1 racers in warm up. First practice session is scheduled for 10 am on October 26th followed by a second session from 2 pm to 3.30 pm. October 27th will see final practice session being held from 11am to 12 noon while the qualifying main event is scheduled for 2 pm the same day. Indian Grand Prix will commence from 3 pm on Sunday 28th 2012.

Ajay Devgan is a motor racing fan and along with Sonakshi Sinha, his leading lady in an upcoming film will be witness to this great event. Buddh International Circuit has received the ‘Motorsport Facility of the Year’ Award at the Professional Motorsport World Expo, Germany 2011 Awards and the ‘Promotional Promoter Trophy’ 2011 awarded by FIA. Earlier in the year, Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor zipped in two Lamborghini LP 550-4 vehicles at the Buddh International Formula-1 Racing Circuit as part of their publicity campaign for their folm Tezz.
