Laura Burstein, President of Motor Press Guild, will be presenting General Motors with a prestigious award at the LA Auto Show. This award is bestowed on 2013 Cadillac ATS as it is named as the 2013 Car of the Year. The ATS was chosen from a total of six finalists and emerged a winner due to its enhanced safety features, stunning performance and state of the art technology.

Cadillac ATS appealed to jury as a capable street car which also portrays equal abilities on track making it a fun vehicle to drive. It has superbly designed interiors and offers latest of technological features. A special press conference will be held on Thursday November 29, 2012 at LA Auto Show when the award will be presented to the company who is pleased that their efforts in bringing out this particular vehicle has been recognised by an influential panel of experts in this field.

Motor Press Guild Vehicle of the Year awards is conferred on models which comply with their stringent rules and regulations. To be eligible for this award, all entries should be new or changed from the previous year’s model and should be available in dealer showrooms on or before 1st January 2013.

Cadillac ATS is a compact, luxury sedan from General Motors which possesses a 2 liter turbo, 2.5 liter and 3.6 liter V6 engine giving the vehicle 272 hp to 321 hp through its 6 speed manual transmission. Priced at $33,095, the vehicle is well equipped with Bluetooth, GPS, up to date apps and BOSE audio. Seats are in leather with wood, aluminum and carbon fiber accents.
