2013 Detroit Auto Show as it happened

Detroit Auto Show is one of the most prestigious shows in the auto industry. This year the show opened on January 14th and will continue till January 27th, 2013.

The Detroit Mounted Police Keep an Eye on the NAIAS with their own Brand of Horse Power2013 NAIAS, saw the unveiling/launches of over 50 vehicles this year. Car makers from around the globe considered Detroit for their premiere.

Following are the launches and global premiere that took place at teh 2013 Detroit Auto Show; Honda Urban SUV, Nissan Resonance, Toyota Furia, Mercedes Benz CLA, BMW 4 Series, Maserati Quattroporte, Audi SQ5, Hyundai HCD-14, Infiniti Q50, Volkswagen CrossBlue, Lincoln MKC, Ford Atlas, Kia Cadenza, Chevrolet C7 Corvette, Nissan Versa Note, Cadillac ELRFiat 500 Cattiva and Abarth Tenebra, 2014 Jeep Compass, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2014 SRT, 2014 Patriot, Acura NSX, Acura MDX,  2014 Lexus IS, Audi RS7, 2014 BMW Z4, VW Passat Performance, 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe, MINI JVW Paceman, Mercedes Benz E63 AMG, 2014 Mercedes Benz E Class, BMW 320i, Volkswagen and Touareg Tiguan R Line, Via Motors X-Truck and many more.

Apart from this, NAIAS 2013 Charity Preview saw the attendance of 13,069 people who collected $3,920,700 for charity towards children. This is also regarded as the largest single night fundraiser in the world. Images here are a collection from this year’s 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
