2013 Honda CBR 250R launch aims at KTM 390 Duke

Following the launch of Duke 390 earlier this week, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) have introduced 2013 edition of CBR 250R. To be available in a choice of four new colors, a limited edition with Repsol livery is also on offer. All these are now available at dealer showrooms, with price ranging from Rs 1.56 – 1.92 lakh.

The Repsol edition is being offered only in the C-ABS (combined anti lock braking system) trim and will bring to the fore the racing DNA of Honda Repsol team’s MotoGP bike. First launched in 2011, the CBR 250R has a really serious threat to face, in the form of recently launched KTM Duke 390.

KTM not only has priced their 390 Duke lower than Honda CBR250R (for ABS variants), but also offers much more in terms of performance and power. Priced at Rs 1.80 lakh ex-showroom, 390 Duke directly competes with the Honda CBR250R. For more information on the new 250cc bike from Honda, scroll through the news release below.
