2013 MINI Cooper caught while on test (Photos)
Try as they might to keep cars under wraps, spy photographers have a happy knack of getting to where the action is. This is exactly…
The 2013 MINI Cooper will have a new front wheel drive platform called UKL which will be larger than the current model in the market. UKL platform has been used in a number of new models and will also be seen on the new BMW that is to be launched in 2014 and also on Clubman.
MINI Cooper will have a number of engine options which will include a 1.5 liter three cylinder with 130 PS and 150 PS both in diesel and petrol besides a 2.0 liter four cylinder seen on BMW 1 Series and 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol producing 180PS. A hybrid version is also expected with a front wheel drive in a deal entered into with PSA Peugeot Citroen in 2010.
