The new Skoda Octavia is only expected to be officially revealed on the internet in November this year, while launch is scheduled for March 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show. However, the car was caught in an uncamouflaged state while on test in the highways of Poland and Czechoslovakia.

Distinctively Skoda, a new front grille in chrome, unique headlights, fog lights could be somewhat deciphered even though these details possessed masked patches. Skoda Octavia 2013 appears to possess more enhanced dimensions and is fitted on a longer wheelbase. Its front fascia is sleeker while side profile and rear end are distinctively and unmistakably Octavia design.

Boot space also seems more augmented while interiors are given a brand new look. Based on the MQB platform, the 2013 Skoda Octavia is the first Skoda car to be thus positioned. It will possess a 1.4 liter TSI petrol engine which will offer 138 bhp and a 1.8 liter TSI petrol engine where power will be upped to 158 bhp. Its diesel engine will be a 2.0 liter four cylinder TDI wherein output is yet unknown.
