2014 BMW X5 images leaked
First images next generation 2014 BMW X5 have been leaked onto the web. This high performance SUV is expected to be released into markets later this year.
No internal features could be deciphered, but the new X5 is expected to have third row seats. Where engine details are concerned, 2014 BMW X5 will be introduced with a variety of options which could include a 2.0 liter diesel offering 245 hp, a 3.0 diesel with 302 hp along with a 4.4 liter V8 biturbo generating 400 hp. Petrol engine line up for BMW X5 hybrid will include a 3.0 liter twin turbo petrol engine and an electric motor which should generate 340 hp and 680 Nm torque. BMW X5M may be introduced in the future which would be powered by a 4.4 liter V8 engine that could offer 550 hp. All engines will be mated to 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.
To be based on an all new ‘X for All’ platform, the new BMW SUV will offer more rigidity and will be lighter and quicker than its outgoing counterpart. Technology in its interiors would include Heads-Up Display, Night Vision, iDrive System and an adaptive suspension all of which together contribute to enhanced safety of occupants.
