2014 F1 schedule confirmed, 19 races instead of 22

Formula 1 governing body, FIA has confirmed schedule for 2014 calendar year. When they revealed a provisional list in September 2013, there were 22 races in the calendar for 2014, but with 3 races having an asterisk against their name. It is these three races which the governing body has decided to drop from the 2014 race calendar.

F1 Grand Prix races to be held in New Jersey, Mexico and South Korea are the one’s which have not been included in the 2014 calendar, even after making it to the list in the September provisional list. FIA’s World Motor Sports Council which held the meeting in Paris, confirmed that they will go ahead with plans to have a total of 19 races as against 22 as initially reported.

From the 2013 race calendar, there will be two venues who have been replaced. Austrian GP has replaced Korea GP while Russian GP has replaced Indian GP for the 2014 race calendar. The 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar is confirmed as follows:
