Seen earlier at 2014 Auto Expo, the new Ford Fiesta facelift features redesigned exterior and improved interior that will form an instant appeal to Indian customers as it gets set for launch (later this month). The facelifted Fiesta signals Ford’s vision to augment its B car segment position with a host of technology and performance updates that have been noted as what today’s buyers seek in a premium compact car.
2014 Ford Fiesta comes in with a new front grille in a trapezoidal design, a signature of Ford global initiative which instantly adds assertiveness and confidence to the exterior design. Infotainment features abound in the form of Ford SYNC along with AppLink being provided on board the 2014 Fiesta facelift. Seat fabrics and designs are also new and come in with contrasting accents and Ice Blue lighting on dials, switches and displays.
Ford has not disclosed any engine or transmission updates on board the new Ford Fiesta nor have they revealed any prices or exact date of launch, though engine options could remain the same in the form of a 1.5 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel. One can also expect to see the EcoBoost 1.0L as an option.
