2014 Porsche 911 GT3 unveiled at Geneva Motor Show 2013
Porsche has taken wraps off its new 2014 911 GT3 at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The variant will arrive in dealer showrooms later this year where it will be seen with some enhanced exterior designs and interior comforts.
It comes with larger air intakes giving the vehicle an altogether more aggressive countenance. At the rear are centrally mounted exhaust tips, an enhanced rear spoiler adding to better downforce. Interiors have been given a makeover with Alcantara trims on steering wheel, dashboard, door panels and seats. Seats are specially designed to offer drivers additional support and comfort. A Sport Chrono package, infotainment system and other comfort items have been added to the GT3.
Engine upgrades see same 3.8 liter flat six engine under the GT3 bonnet though engineers have added upgrades and race inspired fixtures which include forged pistons and titanium rods. These have ensured that the vehicle offers 475 hp while acceleration from 0 to 100 kmpl is possible in 3.3 seconds and a top speed now stands at 314 kmph. Pricing of the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 now stands at $131,350 (100813.62 Euro or INR 71,92,857).
