2014 Toyota Corolla caught on test in India with full body camouflage
Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian subsidiary of the world’s largest car maker, Japan’s Toyota Motors is testing their latest generation of Corolla sedan in the country. Expected to be launched in India by early 2014, the new Corolla caught on test in India, could be seen with same specs as that which was unveiled in Europe in June earlier this year.
Expected to be launched at the 2014 Auto Expo in February, the new Corolla luxury sedan interiors looks more advanced in design than the earlier generation Corollas with completely restyled panels and a new touch screen audio system. Technology will be more advanced with Bluetooth audio and Smart Key System with push button start.
The eleventh generation model could receive the same engine options as seen earlier with the addition of a new CVT gearbox for its 1.8 liter petrol engine offering 138 bhp. The sedan will come in with four variants of the 1.8 liter four cylinder six speed petrol engine and a 1.4 liter diesel engine.
