Besides a larger chrome grille, new Innova (known as Kijang Innova in Indonesia) features a restyled front bumper, while the rear end gets some chrome trimmings along with a modified bumper. Where safety features are concerned, P T Toyota Astra, the Toyota Indonesian subsidiary, has confirmed that the Facelift model will be fitted with front dual airbags which will be standard across range, while the top end variant will also receive a state of the art music system.
Prices will be higher as compared to the outgoing variant. 2014 Innova J, E and G variants coming in with a price tag higher by 4.7 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 27,824) due to its additional airbags while the V variant will come in with a price increase of 1.8 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 10,648).
This will result in the V variant getting a price tag of 297.1 million Indonesia Rupiah (INR 17.63 lakh) with other two variants being prices at 287.557 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 17.06 lakh) for manual version and 301.050 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 17.87 lakh) for the automatic transmission variant. While the Facelift is being launched in Indonesia today, India will receive the Innova Facelift somewhere only in 2014.
