2014 Yamaha FZ-S spied on test, launch later this year
Showcased by Yamaha Motors India at the 2014 Auto Expo, earlier this month, in a concept form was the Yamaha FZ-S where it was seen in a shade of icy blue. The same model has been spotted on test with special body graphics while launch is slated for later this year.
Spotted on test near Greater Noida, the upcoming Yamaha FZ-S Concept bears a sharper look than the current FZ and was seen with a dual tone body color with air inlet mounted below the tank and a modified exhaust with circular end at the rear. The model also sports a well designed mudguard with registration plate enclosure and a new tail lamp in a more striking design. It has a new split seat with revised rear panels and grab rails which are thinner.
Tyres seem to be similar to MRF Revz and carried over from the current FZ, while rear view mirrors also appear to be different from those showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo with thinner rods. No prices have been announced as on date and will be revealed closer to launch scheduled for later this year, probably just ahead of the festive season.
