2015 Ford Edge spied in Europe; concept revealed in LA
2015 Ford Edge is spotted in Europe for the first time. Ford showcased Edge concept at 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, and previewed some of new technologies to be seen in future Ford SUVs. The Edge mid-sized SUV will bear up to date features and will be sold globally.
Similar to concept, spied Ford Edge carries prominent three bar hexagonal front grille and sleek headlamps emerging from the same. LED tail lights, dual exhaust tips, revealing body lines and slanting roofline closely resemble the concept.
Engine specifications of production Ford Edge remain undisclosed, expect EcoBoost engine lineup. Unofficial nominees are a 4 cylinder 2.0 litre EcoBoost producing 240 bhp and 365 Nm, a 4 cylinder 2.3 litre EcoBoost churning out 285 bhp and 413 Nm and a 3.5 litre V6 EcoBoost generating 365 bhp and 474 Nm.
