2015 Ford Figo Aspire compact sedan for India and exports: Photos and Video from Sanand Plant

Mark Fields, president and CEO, Ford Motor Company says new Figo Aspire lets customers expect more from their cars. Ford Figo Aspire compact sedan variants will be exported to compete globally while reinforcing India’s status as a export and manufacturing hub. 2015 Ford Figo Aspire wears a distinct to Ford trapezoidal grille, and ensures noticeable road presence.

Nigel Harris, president, Ford India says Figo Aspire meets customer needs in India and globally to offer a sophisticated compact car that’s spacious on the inside. Class-leading smart features, smart fuel efficiency and low cost-of-ownership work in its favour. The device dock fitted inside is innovative and lets the driver store, mount and charge mobile phones, MP3 players and satellite navigation systems, and integrate devices with the in car entertainment system. No doubt, 2015 Ford Figo Aspire will be equipped Figo Aspire make use of SYNC with AppLink so users can control their phone, entertainment and apps through voice command.

Ford Figo Aspire builds on a robust passenger cage made of high-strength steel. Driver and passenger airbags ensure safety. The compact sedan will be fitted with side and curtain airbags for additional protection, a first for an Indian car in that segment. Serious collisions will effect Emergency Assistance via a Bluetooth-paired phone to automatically call emergency responders alongwith providing vehicle information, and location. Ford Figo Aspire gets power from a 1.5L TDCi diesel engine and 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine and will be manufactured at the manufacturer’s new Sanand, Gujarat plant.
