2015 Ford Mustang RTR teased before SEMA debut
Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr has been hard at work in designing the new RTR package which will be seen on board 2015 Ford Mustang. This is a dealer installed performance package that will be made available from early 2015 for all Mustang fans across the world.
A teaser of what is to come with the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR has been released showcasing its custom bumpers, stripe package, distinctive RTR logos and rear diffuser along with a new trunk lid spoiler. 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be offered in two trim levels â€“ Spec 1 and Spec 2 and as both four and eight cylinder variants, both of which will be shown off at this yearâ€™s SEMA Show, post which they will make their way to select Ford dealerships.
2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be based on the new Mustang S550 platform powered by a 2.3 liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine capable of over 300hp peak power and a 5.0L V8 producing 435 hp power. Spec 1 will be offered with both engine options while Spec 2 will receive only the V8. As was seen in the earlier Mustang RTR, the 2015 Mustang RTR Spec 1 will again include appearance modifications while Spec 2 package will consist of both appearance modifications and various engine upgrades besides modifications seen to exhaust and suspension.
