2015 Mercedes S-Class Coupe steals the show in Geneva

2015 Mercedes Benz S Class Coupe is on display at the ongoing 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It is here and for the first time on board the new S Class Coupe that the company is displaying Magic Body Control’s new active curve tilting function, allowing the car to bend in a manner similar to motorcyclists or skiers.

The new S Class coupe from Mercedes Benz will be officially launched in the second half of 2014. Sitting on a wheelbase of 2,945 mm, the C Class Coupé is 5,027 mm long, has a width of 1,899 mm and a height of 1,411 mm. This two door coupe is fitted with a 4663cc V8 bi-turbo engine with peak power output of 455 hp and peak torque of 700 Nm.

The new S Class Coupe receives standard LED intelligent lighting system, while unique headlights with 47 Swarovski crystals are also available. 17 angular crystals give the daytime running lights a premium appeal with a total of 30 round shaped crystals making up the turn indicator lamps. At the rear end a two piece tail lamp arrangement is seen with LEDs in horizontal rows.

Interiors sport a new head up display and well appointed touchpad. Seating is spacious and comfortable while safety features include Intelligent Drive with Pre Safe Brake with pedestrian recognition, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist and Stop/Go Pilot offering partial autonomous driving. Other safety features available on board the new S Class Coupe include Brake Assist BAS Plus with Cross-Traffic Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus and Night View Assist Plus.
