2015 Skoda Superb next gen spied in China
2015 Skoda Superb has been spied testing in China in an almost uncamouflaged state, revealing some distinct elements about its exterior design. Slated for a debut later this year or early in 2015, the new Skoda Superb will receive a range of petrol and diesel engine options.
The new Skoda Superb will be seen sporting a design overhaul with new projector headlamps with new LED DRLs. Just like the new Octavia and Fabia, the new Superb too will feature a sharper exterior look, making the car look more sporty and aggressive than current gen variant.
2015 Skoda Superb will continue to sport a liftback design wherein boot and rear wind shield rise together (as seen in the current second gen variant). Rear end will sport new taillight clusters and bumper design, while interiors too will receive a major overhaul including subtle changes upholstery, equipment levels and added chrome accents in its interiors.
To be launched in India as well (probably by late 2015 or early 2016), 2015 Skoda Superb will be powered by 1.4 liter and 1.8 liter petrol engines and 2.0 liter TDI diesel engines.
Apart from Superb third gen, which is based on VW’s MQB platform, Skoda is also actively testing third generation Fabia. The new Fabia will bear a strong resemblance to the new Octavia and will sit on a re-engineered platform. This 3rd generation Fabia will make its world debut in 2014 Paris Motor Show in October while its launch in India is uncertain.
