2100 Renault ZOE and Fluence Z.E. electric vehicles for UGAP

Union des Groupements d’Achats Publics (UGAP) awarded a deal to Renault wherein the brand will supply 2000 ZOE and 100 Fluence ZE electric vehicles over the next 3 years. Renault won this deal as there were few competitors in the ‘compact electric sedan’ and ‘versatile 4-seater electric vehicle’ categories sought by UGAP.

The inclusion of these Electric vehicles will ensure that UGAP benefits from a quality electric mobility platform that has been designed to meet needs of public and government authorities. Apart from these two variants, Renault was also roped in to supply 15,000 units of its Kangoo ZE electric vehicle, delivery of which is underway. The Zoe and Fluence ZE electric vehicles will be supplied to UGAP within a period of three years.

The Zoe is powered by a 22kW battery pack and an electric motor capable of producing 87 hp of power and 162 lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 84 mph. on the other hand, Renault’s Fluence ZE is powered by a 22 kWh battery pack and a 95 bhp, 166 pound-feet motor and boasts of top speed of 84 mph.
