Last week, nightmares from the past came back haunting for Tata Motors. Just when they thought everything was getting better, one more Nano engine catches fire due to unexplainable circumstances.
Though Tata Motors released a statement saying, “Tata Motors reaffirms that the updations carried out on the Nano eliminates any possibility of the incident that occurred in an old Nano in Ahmedabad. As admitted by the owner there were certain unauthorized electrical fitments in the car which may be the cause of the incident. Tata Motors is investigating the incident. The company would like to re-iterate that the Tata Nano is a robust car.”
Why Tata would keep saying the same thing every time? What about the other Nano’s that have caught fire till date? Obviously Tata is trying to downplay the issue and probably they don’t give a care for the lives of their customers.
