Aixam, the French quadricycle manufacturers have launched a new lightweight quadricycle which can be driven by 16 year olds possessing just a moped license. This vehicle with output at 4kW and maximum speed of 30 mph and is said to be safer for young drivers than most two wheelers. The vehicle was launched in UK according to EU regulations which permit carpeds or quadricycles that look like cars to be officially driven on city roads.

With its diesel engine, Coupe S is fuel efficient and low on auto emissions, capable of 79.4 miles per gallon while emitting 77 gms/km of CO2. Aixam has already launched this four wheel electric vehicle in Paris Motor Show and it will be on display at the Motorcycle Live event to be held from November 24th at NEC in Birmingham.

Young riders will be able to safely drive this vehicle which is priced at £9,999 and is powered by a Kubota 400cc diesel engine with 12 months free road tax. To add to excitement and give youngsters the feel of the real thing, Coupe S is fitted with alloy wheels and comes with a CD and radio facility.
