She began her career in 2000 when she initially worked as a journalist at STV in Shanghai and TVB in Hong Kong. China is Bentley’s largest market as Volkswagen took back the rights to Bentley China from the Dah Chong Holdings who originally ran the Hong Kong and Chinese mainland markets.
Bentley global sales in the first quarter of 2012 have increased by 46.6% and 1759 units were delivered to customers across the globe. China is emerging as Bentley’s major markets and in the first quarter of this year the company notched up sales by 84.9% with 578 cars delivered.

Bentley Motors has today announced the appointment of Alice Wei as PR Director of the Greater China Region. She will report to Michael Baumann, Bentley’s Director of Communications and Till Scheer, Regional Director of Bentley Greater China. Alice officially joins the company today.
Alice has more than 10 years’ senior level experience of automotive public relations in China. She joins Bentley from Ferrari Maserati China where, as PR & Communications Manager of Maserati for the Greater China Region, she was responsible for the corporate and product PR communications strategy as well as social media and advertising. Alice was previously the PR and Communications Manager for the Ferrari brand. Prior to this, she worked for Kodak China as PR Supervisor and for a joint venture of Microsoft China as Senior PR Specialist. Alice began her career in 2000 as a journalist at STV in Shanghai and later TVB in Hong Kong.
