All hearts beat for Michael Schumacher, fans gather at Grenoble hospital
As the world awaits further news about Michael Schumacher’s health, over 200 fans from Italian and French Scuderia Ferrari Clubs reached Grenoble university hospital today. Others from Germany and Spain too responded to Ferrari’s idea of having fans join in wearing red as a show of support and love to Schumi.
The special tribute on Michael Schumacher 45th birthday saw fans travel distances as a gesture of support for the family and those close to the German driver.
The Ferrari Heart on display today in the hospital car park was held up by those present and stands testimony to the strength of millions of fans who today are even closer than ever to Michael. Schumacher is a fighter, the best there is, and he continues to fight the hardest challenge of his life.
On Schumi’s 45th birthday, there’s a message from Michael’s family. It reads as follows, ‘We are overwhelmed! The incredible sympathies shown today by the Ferrari Fans outside the hospital has utterly overwhelmed us and moved us all to tears. We are deeply grateful for it and also for all the heartwarming and heartfelt wishes for Michael to get well soon, which have reached us from all over the world.’
