Ameya Walavalkar wins Round 4 of 2012 JK Volkswagen Polo R Cup

Ameya Walavalkar has had a great run in the JK Volkswagen polo R cup championship with consecutive podium wins in the last three rounds. Through his superb performance he has been able to stay on the top of the table well ahead of his competitors. During the second race of round four of the championship, he once again clinched a podium finish with a time of 20:28:141.

Rahil Noorani came in second and Avdumber Hede came in third during this race. Ameya who broke away from the pack stayed in front for the entire duration of the race. Rahil and Avdumber had a tough time but in the end Rahil managed to stay ahead of Avdumber who came in a close third.

The TSI Racing Polo is used for these races and with a 1.4 liter engine capable of producing high output 180 hp and 250 Nm of torque which is instrumental in these races. In the recent race, the rims of the car were replaced with lighter ATS rims which made it possible to improve lap times and overall race times.
