Anil Kapoor signing of the Official Formula 1 Opus 1st copy is an 852 page manual weighing 37 kgs. This is the biggest and heaviest publication ever on Formula 1 racing and is bound in leather and silk. Its pages mark the history of F1 and include stories, photographs and other details of F1 that is sure to make this book a collectors’ item.
However, this edition is limited in number and there will be only 100 Champions editions which will include a signature page signed by all World Champion drivers who are alive. The book itself is encased in a black carbon fibre clamshell case and is on offer in the UK for £20,000 while it is available in India in two editions – Champions edition at £20,000 and the Classic edition for £2,000. A special copy is being signed by top personalities in the world of F1 and will be auctioned in Delhi for a number of charities during the 2012 Grand Prix. This copy will be doing the rounds across the globe and receives a bid of $100,000 for a start.
