Santro and Swift are trusted cars on Indian roads and they have a great track record but they got boring exteriors and interiors.

As far as Beat, Polo and Figo are concerned, all are new but have great exteriors and interiors. It is too early to say about the performance but looking at the specs and the test drives, the real competition is between Polo and Figo. Both the cars are quiet comparable but honestly Figo scores over Polo on pricing. Figo is almost 1 lakh cheaper than Polo and Ford has really put in so much money and time in the development and testing of Figo. Both Polo and Figo will be high on maintenance as compared to Beat but I am sure that it will be worth it.

If I had to take a decision, I would go with Ford Figo.
