Aston Martin has announced that its DBS supercar will be replaced by a new supercar. This offering by the British luxury car maker will be christened Vanquish. Although Aston Martin will take a while before they start rolling out their new offering, the supercar already seems to be making news with its pictures and video.

The newest Aston Martin offering, Vanquish was caught on camera without its camouflage. While most car manufacturers test drive their vehicles to be offered in the future under heavy guise , we wonder why Vanquish was roaming the streets of Padua, a small town in Northern Italy stark naked.

Speculations are rife about the car being equipped with an engine built on V12 platform, delivering 573 horsepower. A 6-spped transmission both manual and automatic is believed will be offered. Aston Martin’s all-new Vanquish is expected to be showcased at Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance in California, US this year.

Before Vanquish makes it into production Aston Martin will be offering a DBS ultimate edition supercar. Only 100 units of this special edition will make it through production.
