According to NHTSA, both A4 and S4 vehicles deserve a 5 Star rating due to their performance in New Car Assessment Program which was created to provide customers with detailed and in-depth knowledge about crash protection and rollover safety facilities available in the new vehicles being introduced in the market. According to this rating, one star is awarded to worst performers while best and safest models are awarded five stars, as has been the case with Audi’s A4 and S4.
