Just like other new dealerships Audi India has been opening, this one too features honeycomb aluminum facade on the exterior. Inside, there is a space to accommodate 14 cars. The service station for Audi Bhubaneshwar will be operational within the next 5 months. It will be located behind the showroom itself, on NH-5, Cuttack – Bhubaneswar Highway, Orissa. Even though, Audi is the last to arrive in Orissa, compared to competitors, BMW and Mercedes, who are already present, they aim to become number one in Orissa within 6-12 months. Bhubaneswar, May 24, 2013 – Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today inaugurated its first world-class showroom in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The entire Audi India model range will be available for sale in this new showroom. This world-class showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, Mr. Devjyoti Patnaik, Managing Director, Audi Bhubaneswar (M/S Jyote Premier Pvt. Ltd.) and leading Indian Bollywood actor, Ms. Lara Dutta.

With a display area that can accommodate 14 Audi cars, the showroom will display the entire model range of Audi cars available in India. Furthermore, Audi Bhubaneswar will also house an Audi Shop and the Audi Exclusive elements, where customers can order customized products and purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise.

Audi Bhubaneswar will also manage the exclusive Audi service facility in the next 5 months, which would be located behind the showroom on NH-5, Cuttack – Bhubaneswar Highway, Orissa. This facility would be spread over an area of 14,500 square feet and will have a capacity to service 15 cars per day in a single shift on a total of 09 bays along with body shop and paint shop. The technicians at the facility are trained to ensure world-class services to the customers.
Audi India zoomed past competition, taking ace position amongst German luxury car makers. Displaying stellar performance, Audi India continued to move ahead on its growth path in 2013 recording a sale of 770 units in April 2013 – a year-on-year growth of 37 percent over the same period last year (562 units: April 2012). The company registered a 19.6% growth YTD with sales of 3386 units from January to April 2013 (2831 units: Jan-April 2012).
Audi India plans to expand its network to 34 dealerships by the end of 2013 from its existing 26 centers. The company opened new showrooms in Mumbai South and Lucknow earlier this year. Last year also saw the opening of world-class Audi showrooms in Raipur, Kanpur, Goa, Navi Mumbai, Coimbatore, Delhi West, Nagpur and Bhopal. Further developments include Vadodara among others.
