In a bid to increase their footprint in smaller cities across the country, Audi India has announced opening of their 22nd showroom, at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Northern India has shown great promise where sales volumes are concerned and hence need to concentrate on this area to strengthen and capitalize on a growing demand in the luxury segment.
Four Wheels Auto Private Limited, have been chosen as partners to take advantage of their rich and varied experience in the region. The showroom with a striking honeycomb aluminum facade exterior will be spread over an area of 4000 sq ft and is first Audi showroom in the region.
The showroom has a capacity to display 5 Audi cars in its display area. Audi Kanpur will also have an Audi Shop and Audi Exclusive elements for customers to purchase Audi customized products and other Audi branded merchandise. The dealership will also manage an exclusive service facility situated at Kanpur Lucknow Road which is spread over 12,000 sq ft and will have the capacity to service upto 10 cars in a single shift across its 6 bays. Audi technicians have been given world class training to ensure state of the art service to customers.
Audi India hopes to expand their dealer network from a current 22 as on date to about 25 by the end of this year. Their next target is Lucknow as Audi India concentrates on the Northern region, even while the company has recently opened showrooms across Goa, Navi Mumbai, Coimbatore, Nagpur, Bhopal and New Delhi.

Kanpur, October 19, 2012: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today announced the opening of its new showroom in Kanpur, which is its first showroom in Uttar Pradesh. The entire Audi India model range will be available for sale in Kanpur.
