Audi India today launched a limited edition A6 priced at Rs 37 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) in the wake of company's centenary year celebrations.
Limited Edition A6 boasts of 2.7 litre engine. The 2,698 cc V6 engine is fitted with turbo diesel injection (TDI) technology. This edition will be available at the company's dealerships across the country from January 1, 2010.
"The Audi A6 is the most successful business sedan worldwide and one of the main contributors to our achievements in the Indian market. India has been a significant growth driver for Audi worldwide and this special offer is our way of thanking our valued customers in India who have made this possible" Audi India Managing Director Benoit Tiers said.
Audi currently sells seven models in India i.e. Audi Q7, Audi Q5, Audi A6, Audi A8, Audi A4, Audi TT and Audi R8.
Audi saw a growth of about 50% in year 2009 by selling 1,550 units in the country as against to 1,050 units last year.
