Audi Prologue Avant plug-in hybrid Concept claims 62 kmpl

Audi Prologue Avant plug-in hybrid Concept features a similar setup for powertrain, as seen on board the Audi Q7 e-tron Quatrro, but with a higher stage of development. It features the same 3.0l diesel TDI motor as seen on Q7 e-Tron, but a more powerful electric motor.

Audi Prologue Avant Concept could be a hint towards next gen flagship luxury car from Audi.

This entire arrangement allows production of a total of 455 PS peak power and 750 Nm peak torque (Q7 e-tron delivers 374 hp and 700 Nm torque). Audi claims that the Prologue Avant Concept will accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.1 seconds and have a top speed of 250 kmph. Fuel efficiency stands at 1.6 liters per 100 km (62.5 kmpl) in hybrid mode, but when on pure electric, it has a range of up to 54 kms. In addition to this powertrain setup, the concept gets carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension and Quattro all wheel drive steering system.

Exterior features on board the soon to debut Audi Prologue Avant Concept includes a single frame grille with Matrix Laser headlights, muscular fenders and handleless doors which can be operated via a sensor situated in the window surrounds. The concept also sports three dimensional taillights. Featuring a length of 5.11 mtrs, width of 1.97 mtrs and height of 1.4 mtrs the five door Audi Prologue Avant Concept sits on 22” alloy wheels and a wheelbase of 3.04 mtrs.

As the concept exudes class, performance and luxury, interiors boast of a mix of choicest materials. These include aluminum trims, dark ash wood trim veneers and Unikat leather upholstery. Technology abounds in its interiors with three touchscreen displays and two OLED displays situated at the rear area for passenger entertainment.
