Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro revealed at 2015 Geneva Motor Show – Video

Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro claims to be one of the most efficient SUVs in the market. It is powered by a 3.0 liter TDI V6 engine producing 258 hp and 442 lb/ft torque.

It also has an electric motor that generates 126 hp and 258 lb/ft. System output stands at 373 hp and 516 lb/ft torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 6 seconds while top speed stands at 225 kmph. The crossover claims fuel efficiency of 1.7 liters diesel per 100 km and can travel upto 56 kms on pure electric power. Hybrid range is upto 1,410 kms. The battery can be recharged in 2 and half hours via a rapid charger.

Sitting on 19” alloy wheels and with a new front facia and grille along with new air intakes, the cabin sports a spacious look and class comforts and receives a digital instrument cluster offering navigation data and real time traffic updates. Standard thermal management system with integrated heat pump has been specially developed for the Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro.

Safety and sporty handling is seen on the new Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro. Electromechanical power steering and five link wheel suspensions have also been specially developed to deliver better driving dynamics. Safety features include hill descent control, off road mode for Electronic Stabilization Control and off road navigations while infotainment includes a new MMI terminal and MMI touchpad. 

Standard Audi connect components link the Q7 e-Tron to the internet via LTE, allowing users to surf the net and email via their mobile smart phones. Entertainment features include 3D sound system from Bose and Bang & Olufsen besides the new Audi phone box for charging of cell phones. Pricing of the Audi Q7 e-tron quattro will be available once the model arrives at dealers in Germany next year.
