Audi’s WantAnR8 Twitter campaign received such tremendous response in 2011 that the company has decided that they will be offering fans another chance this year as well.  The opportunity is being offered to Twitter fans who can twitter for a chance to be able to drive the 2012 Audi R8 for a day.

The “WantAnR8” will be seen during a 30 second spot called Once Upon a Time where the Audi R8 can be seen in action.  Twitter fans should be glued to the Audi You Tube channel from March 20th to March 29th and on network TV channels from March 26th.

Judging by the overwhelming response received last year, Scott Keogh, Chief Marketing Officer of Audi of America said that the #WantAnR8Twitter campaign is expecting equal if not more Audi fans to take part this year round.  This spot showcases Audi R8 as a vehicle that creates a lasting impact on the fun loving, speed loving and adventure loving youth of today.

Winners can have options of driving the R8 on the track at Audi Sportscar Experience at Sonoma, CA or it will be delivered to winner’s house.  The contest is divided four rounds where two winners will be selected in each round so that there will be eight winners who can have a chance to experience the thrill of driving an Audi R8 for a day.
