Price details for the 2012 line of Audi RS5 models have been announced in UK. Orders and bookings for the facelifted RSS have begun .The starting price of the vehicle is GBP 58,725. When the RS5 was first revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, car aficionados fell in love with its aesthetic design. Needless to say expectations will be high with Audi's new RS5.
New Audi RS5 is powered by a 4.2L V8 that generates a maximum power of 444 bhp and peak torque of 430 Nm. Transmission is taken care by Audi's trademark S-Tronic for the Quattro all wheel drive system. Audi RS5 accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.
Although the coupe has an electronic limit that restricts the speed to a top speed of 250km per hour, individuals can pay a fee and opt for a de-restriction to acquire a top speed of 280km per hour. The style and design of the 2012 Audi RS5 is more pronounced than its previous models.
The single frame grille design adds visual dynamism to the front of the car. Hood contours too have been improved.
