Audi sales in China and the US superseded even that of BMW, during the month of April. Demand in China, US and Russia contributed to the company sales increasing by 14.4% in April reaching 125,200. Conversely sales of BMW rose 7.4% half of Audi figures with 121,476 deliveries.

Audi, a Volkswagen Group unit last sped past BMW in January 2011. Audi is also trying to surpass Mercedes Benz Daimler division. Audi’s luxury positioning in the market appeals to their extravagance demanding customers who are seeking more technologically advanced vehicles.
