Audi Urban Intelligent Assist research at 2012 LA Auto show

The Audi pavilion is testimony to the company’s commitment to making megacity driving safer and less stressful in the years to come. The company heralds in the latest and most innovative safety features which are all seen at the LA Auto Show on till the 9th December 2012 at the LA Convention Centre. The company will be showcasing a host of safety options along with Audi Urban Intelligent Assist and other innovations powered by three major California universities.

Audi Urban Intelligent Assist (AUIA) research initiative tackles challenges of driving in megacities across the globe while showcasing their endeavors of bringing in safer, more efficient and low stress possibilities in the years ahead. An interactive display will be put up at the Audi pavilion through which it will bring into focus the advancements made in technology, harnessing power of Big Data though algorithms, real time data, Human Machine Interface, advanced sensors and radar detections among other advanced safety standards.

Audi plans on bringing in connected car technologies that will go a long way in not only reducing congestion but will also improve safety standards to a major extent. The system will work towards updating motorists on the real time driving conditions up ahead of them at the onset of the journey itself providing them with stress free commuting along their routes.
