The M&M plant in Chakan was inaugurated in March 2010 with an investment of INR 4,000 crores and with installed capacity of 3 lakh units.

Delegation from ACMA visited their Pakistani counterparts where an MoU to this effect was signed on August 22, 2014 in Lahore.
