Avtoros Shaman SUV monster with 8 wheels: All controlled independently

Russian vehicle maker, Avtoros revealed their new monster SUV, Shaman at the recently concluded Moscow Motor Show. Avtoros Shaman is an amphibious vehicle, capable of displaying extreme competence both on land and in water. The vehicle has four axles and 8 giant tyres, all of which can be controlled independently, if necessary. 8 tires also helps to deal with all types of terrain.

It possesses eight drive wheels and a propeller for tackling icy Siberia and the frozen tundra. Measuring 6.3 meters in length, 2.5 meters in width and standing 2.7 meters high, the Avtoros Shaman weighs less than four tonnes. It is roomy for upto 10 adults, with each of the passengers having one seat for themselves each offering the maximum amount of comforts.

The SUV has a body made of fiberglass and glass, its interiors are air-conditioned and the entire cabin is watertight. All its 8 wheels are independently suspended on a backbone frame and customers can choose from a three liter diesel Iveco engine with 170 hp output while the same sized engine from Hyundai offers 240 hp or the smaller 2.5 liter engine from Hyundai offers 178 hp. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. Avotoros Shaman costs $165,000.
