With added emphasis on mileage, Bajaj states that the ‘M’ in both Discover 100M and Discover 125M, two additions to the Discover lineup, stands for ‘mileage’ and hence promises best mileage in its segment, which the company pegs at 80 kmpl.
Bajaj Discover 100M receives a 4 valve, DTS-I engine. The engine offers peak power of 9.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 0.95 kgm at 6,000 rpm. Bajaj Discover 100M receives semi dual cradle steel frame, telescopic fork suspension in front and drum brakes at the rear. It sits on a wheelbase of 1255 mm.
To be offered with both electric and kick start, Bajaj Discover 125M is powered by a 4 stroke, 124cc single cylinder, air cooled, DTS-I engine offering peak power of 11.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 1.10 kgm at 6,000 rpm. This model also receives telescopic fork suspension in front but rectangular section swing arm at the rear, though it also sits on a wheelbase measuring 1255 mm. Both models will be presented in Nepal in attractive colors of blue, red, magenta, green and silver along with blue and gold.
To be manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s plant near Pune, both these Bajaj Discover variants are already on offer in India. Starting price of Discover 100M is at Rs. 46,023, and that of 125M is at Rs 48,500. For more details, read our detailed comparison of all Discover variants.
