Bajaj Maxima C cargo 3-wheeler launched in India

The Bajaj Maxima C three-wheeled cargo carrier has been priced at INR 1,89,075 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The company claims that the new product is the most powerful three-wheeled cargo carrier in the country.

Available in a CNG variant, the Maxima C is powered by a 199 cc 4-stroke engine which is tuned to deliver 7 KW of power at 5,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm. Bajaj claims a minimum durability of 1 lakh kilometers.

The Maxima C CNG is designed to carry heavy loads like cylinders, cement, beverages, food boxes, general grocery and other household supplies. The vehicle is suspended by what the company describes as Power Suspension. It comprises helical coil compression spring & hydraulic shock absorbers.

The Maxima C’s loading bay measures 1,650 mm in length, 1,425 mm in width and 275 mm in height. The company hasn’t revealed the payload capacity but has assured that it is higher than the rivals.

The load carrier features a cabin with doors, modern instrument console and a driver seat which is described as comfortable by the company. The company also highlights shorter turning radius and service brakes. Bajaj also claims that Maxima C will be easier to maintain than its rivals.
