Bajaj Pulsar 200SS was recently spotted on test along the Pune-Goa highway ahead of its official unveiling at 2014 Auto Expo in February. Featuring completely new design cues, yet to be see on a Pulsar, the front faring of 200 SS is now revealed clearly in a new spy image.
Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is designed as a compact sportsbike with clip on handle bars and a sportier stance. The spy pictures here, reveal a muscular fuel tank, alloy wheels, split seats and telescopic suspension in front and mono shock at the rear as is also seen on 200NS. Taking on a headlamp design from 200NS, the 200SS is seen with split LED daytime running lights and distinctive indicators.
The production ready bike in a yellow and black color combination gets an aggressive stance with noticeable decals and body graphics in white and black. Tyres and engine might be the same as the one currently seen on board the 200 NS.
To go on display at 2014 Auto Expo, Bajaj Pulsar 200SS could have a projected price in the range of 1.10 lakhs and is hoped to revive interest in the Pulsar line of bikes which has seen a steep fall in recent times. (image via)
