Volkswagen owned British luxury car maker, Bentley unveiled new images of their all new Continental GT and Continental GTC variants. Bentley has installed their new 4.0L V8 twin turbocharged engine which is developed in conjunction with Audi, another Volkswagen owned luxury car maker.
The new 4.0L Bentley engine generates peak power and torque of 500 bhp and 660 Nm respectively. Transmission of power is taken care by 8 speed automatic gearbox. Thanks to the new intelligent engine, new Bentley Continental GT and Continental GTC variants are 40% more fuel efficient and leave lesser CO2 emissions behind.
While driving under normal circumstances, when performance is not of utmost importance, the V8 shuts of 4 of its cylinders to return better fuel efficiency. But, once you are in the mood to experience gravitational forces, all 8 cylinders are fired up instantly.
