If you love Bentley, and Bond, here’s a writeup that will make you smile. Copies of Carte Blanche, the latest Bond book made their way to the St Pancras International in London in style, with writer Jeffery Deaver gracing the occasion. The Royal Marines Commandos put up a great show rappelling at the event, and yes there was a fast Bentley, and a beautiful Bond girl astride on a BSA 1966 Spitfire motorbike.
The setting could very well be part of a thriller with Jeffery Deaver pulling up at The Champagne Bar; Europe’s longest bar at St Pancras International. Arriving in a special Carte Blanche red Bentley Continental GT led by a Bond girl in black leather clothing, it really did make the event exciting. For those who’re interested, Carte Blanche is being published in hardback by Hodder & Stoughton.
The plot of Carte Blanche remains a secret for a just a few hours more. For those wishing to make the event memorable, there’s also a 1000 pound limited edition version encased in a miniature Bentley Continental GT model.
